Shape of the Week

The school week is spread over five days with 33 taught lessons, tutorials, assembly, sport and "lab" (time for students to listen to talks by guest speakers, to seek out teachers for individual help and to study independently). The school day starts at 8.50am and finishes at 4.10pm.

The school day starts at 8.50am and finishes at 4.10pm. The building is open and the Reception desk staffed from 7.30am to 6.30pm.

From Celebration 2 in Year 12 through to May half term in Year 13, students have subject-specific Saturday School. These days run from 9am-1pm and are used to either teach some of the more challenging material in a longer chunk of time than lessons allow, or to revise for exams as students approach the end of Year 13. They are compulsory and a core part of our timetable.
